Vague – Noir et Blanc

J’ai peint cette toile d’une vague déferlante en février 2021 en utilisant de la peinture noire et blanc afin de renforcer, par un effet de constraste maximum, l’impact visuel des projections d’écume. La vague plonge sous la surface en s’enroulant autour d’une ellipse. A l’avant plan, la vague est verticale, sur le point de basculer, tandis que de l’écume s’arrache de la lèvre dans un spray emporté par le vent.
Wave – Black and White

I painted this canvas with a breaking wave in February 2021 using black and white paint in order to reinforce, by a maximum contrast effect, the visual impact of the foam projections. The wave plunges below the surface, wrapping itself around an ellipse. In the foreground, the wave is vertical, on the verge of tilting, while foam tears from the lip in a spray carried by the wind.

Este lienzo lo pinté con una ola rompiente en febrero de 2021 con pintura en blanco y negro para reforzar, mediante un efecto de máximo contraste, el impacto visual de las proyecciones de espuma. La ola se sumerge debajo de la superficie, envolviéndose alrededor de una elipse. En primer plano, la ola es vertical, a punto de inclinarse, mientras la espuma se desgarra del labio en un rocío arrastrado por el viento.

Ich habe diese Leinwand im Februar 2021 mit einer brechenden Welle mit Schwarzweißfarbe bemalt, um die visuelle Wirkung der Schaumstoffprojektionen durch einen maximalen Kontrasteffekt zu verstärken. Die Welle taucht unter die Oberfläche und wickelt sich um eine Ellipse. Im Vordergrund ist die Welle vertikal, kurz vor dem Kippen, während Schaum in einem vom Wind getragenen Spray von der Lippe reißt.
